Celebrate Earth Hour by taking our Self-Guided Walking Tour of Cabbagetown South anytime on March 28th.
The starting point for the tour is the Beer Store Parking Lot and you proceed south on Ontario, west on Dundas St. E and North on Seaton. It should take 30-40 minutes.
It takes you from the Beer Store through Cabbagetown South, ending on Aberdeen Avenue, to enjoy the this Victorian neighbourhood. On your walk you will learn about interesting historic information about the neighborhood and the homes you pass.
Cabbagetown is a neighbourhood located on the east side of downtown Toronto. Although you won’t find it on a map or survey, it comprises “the largest continuous area of preserved Victorian housing in North America”, according to the Cabbagetown Preservation Association.
