Sherbourne & Dundas Safety Survey

Toronto Police (51 Division) released the summary of results from their “Dundas Street East and Sherbourne Street Area Safety Survey”. 

The results are telling:

• 1,097 Surveys Completed
• Most people who completed the survey said they do not feel safe at any time of the day or night in the Dundas and Sherbourne Street area. Just over 40% said they feel ‘very safe’ or ‘reasonably safe’ in the morning and afternoon.
• And about 85% said they feel ‘somewhat unsafe’ or ‘very unsafe’ in the area at night and overnight, with the majority feeling “very unsafe”.
